Terms of use

These terms cover droom.ca and the free Website Checker, including the Website Checker app in ChatGPT. Paid work (a website, a monthly plan) is covered by the written agreement you sign for it, not by this page.

The Website Checker

The checker reads the public homepage of the address you give it and reports what it finds. It's free and automated. It only reads what any visitor could see, and it doesn't log in, fill in forms or change anything.

It can be wrong. A site can block automated visitors, answer differently at different times, or do things a quick read of its code can't see. Treat the results as a starting point, not a guarantee, and check anything important before acting on it.

What you agree to

• Use the checker for normal purposes, such as looking at your own site or one you're considering working with.
• Don't use it to overload, attack or scrape other websites, or to get around the limits it has.
• Don't present its results as a statement from Droom about a business.

No warranty

The site and the checker are provided as they are, without any promise that they'll be accurate, complete or always available. To the extent the law allows, Droom isn't liable for any loss that comes from using them or relying on their results.

Privacy

The checker keeps nothing about you or the address you check. How Droom handles information generally is on the privacy page.

Changes and questions

These terms may change, and this page always shows the current version. They're governed by the laws of British Columbia and of Canada that apply there. Questions go to hello@droom.ca.
