How much does a small business website cost in Vancouver?
At Droom a site of up to five pages is $999 one time and up to fifteen pages is $1,999, with booking wired in at no extra cost. Anything bigger is quoted in writing. Care, the hosting and edits plan, is $99 a month after that. Vancouver agencies typically quote $6,000 to $15,000 for equivalent work because you are also paying for their office, their project manager and their account team.
How long does it take to build the website?
About three weeks from the day you approve the direction. That covers design, build, content, Google Business Profile setup and going live.
Do I own the website?
Yes, a site you buy is yours from launch. Care is month to month after the first three months. Cancel with 30 days notice and the site stays yours.
How fast are edits?
Care, at $99 a month, includes two small edits a month, each back within 48 hours, in writing. You message the person doing the work, not an account manager.
Who actually builds the site?
One person, Joe Jagtap, working from Vancouver. There is no account manager passing notes to a designer you never meet, so the person you text is the person doing the work. That is the whole reason it costs less than an agency quote.
Do you work with businesses outside Vancouver?
Yes. The work is done remotely and the process is the same anywhere in Canada. Vancouver, Burnaby, North Vancouver and Richmond are close enough to meet in person when that is the easier way to settle something.
